November 18, 2021—Familia, the leader in Russia’s off-price retail market, is announcing its revenue and key operational results for the nine months ended September 30, 2021 (“9M 2021”).
9M 2021 highlights:
Svetlana Mozhaeva, Familia’s CEO, said:
Despite the COVID-19-related challenges facing not only Russia’s retail industry but the economy as a whole, we have managed to adapt to the new environment while maintaining solid growth dynamics ¬– our revenue for nine months of 2021 grew 47.8% compared to the same period of the previous year, and by 30.6% compared to the same period in 2019 (pre-COVID).
We have continued the successful scaling of our business across Russia’s regions in 2021, opening 57 new stores including cities where Familia had not operated before. We have noted increased interest in the off-price format and in Familia stores in particular, and we are planning to expand our product depth and breadth, in line with the best global practices.
