Russian off-price retailer Familia has won two Golden Bear national awards in the field of goods and services for children. The company won the Store of the Year category as a retailer offering a wide range of quality products for mothers and children at great prices. Familia also won an award in the People's Vote category.
The Golden Bear award, established in 2010, is the main Russian national award in the field of goods and services for children and families, recognizing outstanding service from industry leaders. The Golden Bear judging panel consists of leading Russian experts in areas such as children’s developmental psychology and physiology, hygiene and safety, and the children’s goods and services industry. This year, about 300 nominees competed, presenting their products and services to experts in more than 20 categories.
“We would like to thank the Russian Association of Children's Goods Industry for the nomination and the judging panel for their recognition of our efforts to enhance our range of children's goods,” said Maria Galamaga, Head of the Children’s Department of Familia. “Every day we strive to ensure that our customers can choose from a wide range of quality products from leading domestic and foreign brands at great prices. More than 60 product categories for mothers and children and more than 2,000 brands from 25 countries are represented in our stores. It is a pleasure to work together with representatives of top brands, which offer myriad appealing and high-quality children's goods, and to constantly enhance our product range, discovering new innovative brands for ourselves and our customers. We are constantly improving and attracting more customers and it is gratifying that our work has been recognized both by leading industry experts and by the popular vote.”
